How to reach barcelona

By plane: |
Barcelona's International Airport (BCN) is
located 12 km south of the city. The airport connects Barcelona
with all Spanish airports, many European cities and some
intercontinental destinations, like New York.

By train: |
Barcelona is connected with the rest of Spain
by an efficient railway network and also has direct connections
with foreign destinations including Paris, Zurich and Milan.
The main train station is Barcelona Sants, in Plaza Països
Catalans, where international, national and regional trains
depart from. The second station is Estación de França in Av.
Marquès de l’Argentera. The AVE high speed line is in the
process of being completed, which will provide fast connections
to Madrid.

By bus: |
There are many possibilities for reaching
Barcelona by bus. The main station for national and
international buses is Barcelona-Nord.

By ship: |
There is regular service to and from the
Balearic Islands from the harbor of Barcelona as well as direct
ferry connections with Genoa (Grandi Navi Veloci) and Rome (Grimaldi
Ferries).
